Dunlin Calidris alpina = Calidris alpina schinzii Two nests of the Dunlin were found in May-June 1982 in the Lauwersmeer, a reclaimed bay of the Waddensea. The first nest containing one egg was deserted; the second nest contained four eggs which hatched successfully. The distance between the nests amounted to a few hundred meters. It is not clear whether both nests were from different breeding pairs
