Sooty Shearwater Puffinus griseus On 19th October 1971 a Sooty Shearwater Puffinus griseus was caught at the coast near Den Helder in the Netherlands. The bird died some days afterwards. Results of the examination upon chlorinated hydrocarbons in the abdominal fat are given.
