VOOUS KH (1972) Short announcements: Bonellis warbler Phylloscopus bonelli bonelli caught in the Netherlands. LIMOSA 45 (1): 90-90.

Record of a specimen of Bonelli's Warbler Phylloscopus bonelli caught 5 September 1969 by Dr. J. A. Smits on the island of Schiermonnikoog, Netherlands. The relatively small measurements of the living bird (wing 63, tail 47Yz mm) indicate that the bird belongs to the western subspecies P. b. bonelli. Up to now all eight Netherlands records of the Bonelli's Warbler had to remain without subspecific identification. Western Bonelli's Warbler Phylloscopus bonelli
