On November 26th, 1960 an Eagle was seen in the Zwarte Meer-reserve, Province of Overijssel, Netherlands. that most probably was a specimen of the Shorttoed Eagle. Till now only four records were known for the Netherlands, among which only one from this century. Short-toed Eagle Circaetus gallicus
