WIGMAN AB (1951) Occurrence of the Black-bellied Dipper (Cinclus c cinclus L.) in the Netherlands. LIMOSA 24 (1): 1-2.

Xmas 1950 till about the middle of February 1951 a specimen of this bird was daily seen at a little brook between two artificial waterfalls in the province Guelderland. It could be observed hard by, so that the identification cannot miss. Many experienced putch ornithologists saw the bird for a long time at close quarters. This subspecies of Cinclus has occurred and been collected in Holland from 1759 till 1899 only four or five times; further a specimen was probably seen November 1912, but not collected. White-throated Dipper Cinclus cinclus cinclus
