LENSINK R (1994) Short contributions: Confirmed breeding of a Bar-headed Goose Anser indicus. LIMOSA 67 (3): 109-110.

In The Netherlands, like elsewhere in Western Europe, some exotic bird species have formed feral populations. Observations of probable and confirmed breeding of Barheaded Goose in 1992 and 1993, respectively, are described. In 1993 one pair successfully raised six chicks, which hatched in the beginning of May. Previously, one confirmed and a few possible cases of breeding of this species in The Netherlands were reported during 1973 - 1978. Bar-headed Goose Anser indicus
