BRINK B VAN DEN (1992) Current research. Sleeping places of Barn Swallows. LIMOSA 65 (1): 32-32.

Admiration for and curiosity about swallows their actions, have led to my ringing increasingly specialized in research on Barn Swallows. The breeding biology of this species has been extensively examined, including Loske in Germany, Vansteenwegen in Belgium, Denmark Moller and larry in France. My research focuses on the relationship of Barn Swallows in their beds. Barn swallows sleeping preferably in cane fields along rivers and lakes. Thus there is an annual common sleep at Elburg, where I ring work. Many nestlings too many rings swallows to catch the common sleeping I try to get a picture of the wanderings of young birds in their first summer Barn Swallow Hirundo rustica
