MUSTES CJM & KEURS WJ TER (1990) Actualities: Factors affecting the density of grassland birds, determine a response. LIMOSA 63 (1): 38-39.

Initially we were very pleased that Limosa (62: 113) attention to our report Factors that determine the density of grassland birds (Musters et al 1986). A grumbler who did this about three years after the publication of the report was done (in heading Recent articles!). Our satisfaction hit But soon to annoyance by the qualification reviewer had given to our report. that characterization read as follows: How do I turn everything against everything, leave as SPSS [Statistical Program] to go and am happy surprised if there is a positive correlation rolls out '. The question is this which we (dis) qualification earned, or its justice to the intentions, the quality and outcomes of our research. First the question of whether the classification reflects the purposes of our research. The qualification suggests namely that we completely rudderless all against all are plotted. Nothing is further from the truth. We have very directed search for which (land use and management) factors that the density of different species of farmland birds could increase, as part of the 66k modern dairy farming.
