ROOS GT DE (1990) Confirmed breeding of the Wood Warbler Phylloscopus sibilatrix on the isle of Vlieland. LIMOSA 63 (1): 25-25.

In spring 1989, 18-20 territories of Wood Warbler Phylloscopus sibilatrix were noticed in the forests on the isle of Vlieland. Two nests with young were found on 25 June. No evidence of breeding was obtained in the remaining territories. Food composition was determined, while watching the parents feeding the young (tab. I). Differences in food between both nests are attributed to differences in nesting habitat. Wood Warbler Phylloscopus sibilatrix
