CDNA = Committee Rarities Dutch Avifauna This annual report of the Dutch rarities committee lists records of rare and scarce birds in the Netherlands in 1984 together with some older ones. Species marked with an asterisk in the list of accepted records have not been considered by the committee. The three numbers in brackets after each species' name refer to the total numbers in 1900-68, 1969-83 and 1984, respectively. Interesting records include: Anas discors (7th), Chettusia leucura (2nd), Larus canus heinei (1st), Motacilla citreola (1st), Acrocephalus agricola (1st, 2nd), Sylvia conspicillata (1st).
