White-tailed Lapwing Vanellus leucurus On 10, 12, and 16 July 1984 a White-tailed Plover was seen near Petten (Noord-Holland). The bird was seen in shallow water (depth 5-10 em) near freshwater pools. If accepted, this bird represents the second or the third record for the Netherlands (a month earlier a bird was reported in Drenthe).
