Carrion Crow Corvus corone On 6 October 1983, a first-year Carrion Crow was trapped in the Arnhem Zoo with a large backward directed toe half-way the posterior part of the left and right tarsometatarSllS. The left leg had also an additional toe half-way the left toe (fig. 1). Compared with other crows trapped early October 1983, the bird was rather lean for its size (fig. 2).
