White-throated Sparrow Zonotrichia albicollis An account is given of the third Dutch record of the White-throated Sparrow Zonotrichia albicollis on 24 April 1977 near IJmuiden. The condition that the bird (similar to the previous five records from continental Europe) was found close to a seaport gives support to the view that it crossed the Atlantic on board ship.
