Northern Goshawk Accipiter gentilis In some breeding areas of the Goshawk Accipiter gentilis the only available nest, situated close to a frequently used forest track, was rendered unusable. Subsequently an artificial nest was presented, which was accepted by the hawks. An eyrie of the Sparrowhawk Accipiter nisus, also situated ?ery conspicuously, was succesfully transplanted shortly before egg-laying.
