On the 4th September 1972 a Sharp-Tailed Sandpiper Calidris ocuminata was trapped and ringed in the Westland Dunes, south of The Hague (at 52.01 N 04.09' E) in the province of Zuid-Holland. This is the 2nd record for The Netherlands Pectoral Sandpiper Calidris melanotos
