Sandwich Tern Thalasseus sandvicensis = Sterna sandvicensis On december 30th 1972 and January 20th 1973, a Sandwich Tern Sterna sandvicensis was seen near the Grevelingendam in the province of Zeeland. Up till now december- and january-records of this species were not known for the Netherlands.
