On 27th October 1971 a specimen of male Yellow-breasted Bunting Emberiza aureola was trapped at the Vogelringstation Meyendel near Wassenaar, the Netherlands. The bird was ringed and released. This is the second confirmed record of the species since 1900. Yellow-breasted Bunting Emberiza aureola
