RIVON (1960) Short contributions: A second summer-record of the Mediterranean Gull Larus melanocephalus in the Netherlands in 1959.. LIMOSA 33 (1): 57-57.

Early in May, 1959 two specimens of the Mediterranean GuIl were seen in a colony of Black-headed GuIls on an estate in the S.W. part of the Province of Noord-Brabant near the Belgian frontier. Later on in the same month only one specimen was seen and it was not clear then if there was a nest. For a breeding case in the Province of Zuid-Holland in the same year, see Limosa 32, p. 183-185.
