Soma data are given on the weight and the daily amount of food with 6 Kestrels in captivity. Though one feeding of 45 grammes a day wiIl do, spreading of this amount over two or more feedings appeared to be better. Individual differences concerning the appetite and the preference for special food were more than once stated. According to the writer Kestrels can fast the best of all Falcons.
