Mallards alighting on the ice at the setting in of the frost exhibited the same amount of gliding and tumbling as is shown in one of WaIt DISNEY'S films. A few days later on it did not happen any more as they alighted very carefully at an angle of 90 Mallard Anas platyrhynchos
